Rules of writing letters
- Heading
Write the date.
(Spell out the month, write the date, then the year) - Greeting
Who are you writing the letter to?
(Dear_____, Hello _____, My best friend _____, My favorite _____, and etc.) - Opening
Say something nice first.
(How are you..., Thank you for..., I hope you..., and etc.) - Topic Sentence
State what you want to talk about.
(I have adjective news..., You will never believe..., Will you..., Did you..., Can you..., Are you..., and etc.) - Details
Describe your topic.
